Emmerdale Vanessa and Charity affair ‘exposed’ as fans ‘work out’ who saw everything

Emmerdale fans reckon it’s only a matter of time before Charity and Vannesa’s shock kiss will come to light

Emmerdale fans are certain they know who is going to expose Charity Dingle and Vanessa Woodfield’s kiss.

Charity (Emma Atkins) and Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) first struck up a romance back in 2018. The pair had their ups and downs though, and eventually they broke up in 2020.

Charity went on to find love again and marry Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb). Vanessa meanwhile, dated Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) until her shock death in the limo car crash earlier this year.

And on the soap in recent months, it’s been a dramatic time for Charity, who has agreed to be a surrogate for her granddaughter Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill).

As viewers will recall Sarah was diagnosed with cancer this year, and was forced to have a hysterectomy. Unable to have children of her own, Charity stepped in to help Sarah.

And while Mack is not keen about his wife carrying Sarah’s baby, Vanessa has been supporting her former flame Charity.

This week though, things took an emotional turn Charity started bleeding after she fell over in the woods days before. Thinking the recent embryo transfer probably hadn’t worked, Charity was left emotional.

And in Thursday’s episode (August 7) after a blazing row with Mack, Charity headed to the pub to get drunk. There, she was comforted by Vanessa who tried to sober her up.

She took Charity back to her place to try and sober her up, while Charity opened up about Mack and the surrogacy ordeal. However, at the end of the episode, Charity made her move on Vanessa and the pair ended up kissing.

Now, fans are convinced an affair is on the cards for Vanessa and Charity – but in a shock twist, viewers also think it will be Charity’s sister Tracy (Amy Walsh) who exposes them.

On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person wrote: “How predictable, we all saw Charity and Vanessa coming right?” Someone else added: “Hopefully they don’t drag it out and they get found out soon.” A third chimed in: “I think Tracy might have heard them or seen them.” Another agreed: “Good idea.”
