Peter Andre opened up about his son during an interview on Wednesday’s This Morning
Peter Andre has shared an update on his “brilliant” son Junior amid their ongoing family feud.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker shares Junior, 20, and daughter Princess, 18, with ex-wife Katie Price, who he recently criticised in a public statement.
“For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today,” the statement read.
Princess has subsequently disclosed that her parents’ turbulent relationship “doesn’t affect” her, whilst Junior recently shared his own statement, explaining his choice to embrace a “lowkey” period in his life.
On Wednesday (August 27), Peter made an appearance on ITV’s This Morning, where he chatted with presenters Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson about his forthcoming Channel 5 drama The Sunshine Murders, reports Devon Live.

The fresh murder mystery centres on two half-sisters searching for their vanished father, who stumble upon a series of local crimes during their quest.
During the interview, Peter discussed Junior’s visit to the London filming location alongside his nephew, who managed to secure a brief appearance in the programme.
Regarding Junior’s promising acting prospects, Peter remarked: “He is brilliant. Honestly, I think he’s going to go very, very far. And I’m glad he’s taken time out to be a teenager and actually enjoy his time, he’s settling in with his girlfriend.
“I’m glad he’s done all of that. So, when he’s ready to go for it, he’s gonna do it.”
Rylan then said, “I’ve known the kids since they were young. My god, what lovely adults they’ve grown into, haven’t they? They’re such a testament to you.”
Peter responded, “They are. They’re good kids. They have their own minds, and I love that. I try to do what my dad does to me, but I let them have a lot of freedom.”
Regarding social media concerns, he went on: “It’s interesting because people ask me that a lot. When we all started social media, we were all in it together. We didn’t know the pitfalls of it then; we didn’t know what it was going to be like.
“And now, I don’t think social media on its own has become the problem. I think, with AI involved in it, it’s a whole different level. It’s scary now, very scary. But you know, we’re all learning and adapting.”
Peter wrapped up by saying: “I really want [my children] to fly and do their own thing. I’m really happy for them.”
The Sunshine Murders premieres on Channel 5 on Tuesday, September 2. This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
