EastEnders’ Patrick and Yolande Trueman’s wedding day arrives next week but things don’t go to plan as a life hangs in the balance after a gunshot is heard in Albert Square
The wedding day of Patrick and Yolande Trueman is set to take place next week in EastEnders, but the couple’s joyous occasion doesn’t go as smoothly as planned.
Rudolph Walker’s character, the groom, remains firm in his decision not to proceed with the wedding following his recent assault.
Yolande, portrayed by Angela Wynter, is inspired by Denzel Danes’ (Jaden Ladega) positive outlook and is resolute in her efforts to get the wedding back on track, despite Patrick’s steadfast refusal.
Meanwhile, Kim (Tameka Empson) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) are doing their utmost to organise the big day.
As the guests eagerly await the arrival of the bride and groom, Denise and Kim brace themselves for the possibility that they may not show up. However, they are overjoyed when the smitten pair arrive and the wedding proceeds as planned, reports OK!.
In another storyline, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is shocked when Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) shows him a gun he has found.
Devotees of the BBC One soap will recall that the firearm was recently hidden in some debris by Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway), but it had disappeared when he returned to retrieve it.
Oscar pleads with his uncle to help him dispose of the gun, but unbeknownst to them, their conversation is overheard by Ravi Gulati (AaronThiara).
In a desperate bid to reclaim the weapon, Ravi breaks into No. 27, but Denise catches sight of her former flame sneaking out.
At The Vic, Denise informs Jack about what she saw, leading him to quickly deduce why Ravi was at the house and confront him. The Square’s residents are left in shock when they hear news of a gunshot being fired.
As the wedding reception of Patrick and Yolande unfolds in The Vic, a shocking revelation about a shooting sends shockwaves through the crowd, leaving one life hanging by a thread.
Meanwhile, Kat Moon, portrayed by Jessie Wallace, is in a state of panic as she frantically searches for Tommy Moon, played by Sonny Kendall. Unbeknownst to her, Tommy has gone off in search of Zoe Slater, brought to life by Michelle Ryan.
As Kat and Alfie exhaust all means to reach him, they begin to fear the worst. However, when Kat receives a message from Tommy stating he’s outside, she rushes out to find him.
Overwhelmed with emotion while searching for Tommy, Kat breathes a sigh of relief upon hearing his voice. But nothing could have prepared her for the sight that greets her: Zoe has returned to Albert Square.
In a monumental reunion, Kat and Zoe come face-to-face once again. Eager to talk to Zoe, Kat finds it challenging due to their complicated past and the fact that Zoe isn’t the same girl who left Walford years ago.
As the drama unfolds, more details emerge about what Zoe has been up to since she left Walford.
