Strictly Come Dancing star details ‘next chapter’ in heartfelt post

Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Michelle Tsiakkas has been supported by her fellow dancers and fans as she celebrates her 30th birthday

Michelle Tsiakkas has been inundated with congratulatory messages from her Strictly Come Dancing colleagues and devoted fans as she celebrated a significant personal achievement.

The professional dancer rose to prominence as part of the beloved dance programme, joining the cast alongside the likes of Amy Dowden, who recently issued a plea to fans.

Currently, Michelle is gearing up for her comeback to the BBC One dance competition, after being confirmed amongst the professional lineup for the 2025 series earlier this year.

The Strictly pro will grace the beloved show once again when it makes its September return, dancing alongside Carlos, Lauren, Vito, Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones and Neil Jones.

The professional roster for this year also features Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington and Nancy Xu, reports the Manchester Evening News.

It was additionally announced that two fresh professional dancers would be joining the programme, with the newcomers unveiled as So You Think You Can Dance winner Alexis Warr and Australia’s Dancing With The Stars’ Julian Caillon.

However, before her ballroom comeback, Michelle has another cause for celebration. On Friday (August 29), she shared on Instagram that she was marking her 30th birthday.

Accompanied by several radiant photographs, she penned to her devoted followers: “The big 3-0. Grateful for the highs, the lows and all the lessons in between.

“Proud of who I’ve become and excited for who I’m still becoming. Staying true to myself has been my greatest win – here’s to the next chapter.”

Her fellow stars were quick to send their birthday wishes. Vito chimed in with: “Happy birthday Miiiiiiiish,” and also posted on his Instagram Story: “Happy Birthday Mish. Wish you all beautiful things #realfriend.”

Fleur East, host of Strictly It Takes Two, sent her regards: “Happy birthday lovely.”

Strictly 2024 contestant JB Gill wished: “Happy Birthday Michelle!! Have the best day.”

While Jowita simply said: “Happy Birthday.”

One fan penned: “Happy birthday beautiful! ! have the most incredible day.”

Someone else exclaimed: “Wooo hoo, happy 30th Michelle, you beautiful soul. Have an awesome day.”

One person commented: “There’s no way you’re 30 OMG?!?! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!” Another added: “Happy birthday Michelle, hope your day is as wonderful and special as you.”
