A “kidnapper” mum accused of abducting her son and taking him to Vladimir Putin’s Russia has been pictured.

Anastasiia Chikina is the Russian mum of three-year-old Oliver Pugh, who was last seen in Marbella on the Costa del Sol in July. Police are now hunting for little Oliver’s whereabouts and it is believed Anastasiia took her son just before he could be removed from her care as per a Marbella court ruling.

The family live in Marbella but the parents have been separated since May 2024 and were sharing care of Oliver from different homes. The boy’s devastated dad has not seen his son for more than a month and Spanish police fear Anastasiia has taken him and fled to Russia.

A court case this summer granted Oliver’s dad full custody over the boy. It was after the final hearing in July when Anastasiia allegedly abducted her son and fled. Anastasiia’s mum, Angela (Anzhela) Nikolenko and Anastasiia’s 15-year-old sister are also missing.

Speaking to The Sun, Oliver’s dad said: “We have no idea where they are – Oliver could be anywhere. Anastasiia appears to have run off with Oliver when she realised she was going to lose custody.

“She obviously didn’t want to lose our son and the lifestyle that goes with it, so she’s trying to keep hold of him.” The dad, who does not wish to be named, is offering a £87,000 (€100,000) cash reward for information leading to Oliver’s safe return.

Oliver’s worried dad has publicly pleaded with Anastasiia to return Oliver, citing concerns about his son growing up in Mad Vlad’s Russia, where badmouthing the Kremlin’s bonker full-scale invasion can see citizens jailed for several years.

“I know you love him and want the best for him, but this is causing pain not just for him, but for you and your family too,” he said. “Please, stop before it gets any harder for everyone.”

Vlad’s cowardly cheerleaders have already weighed in on the issue. A state media pundit has declared the boy is “Russian” and demanded the Putin regime should “do everything possible” to “protect the mother’s right” to be with the child.

Daft Kremlin-funded Russian state propaganda media columnist Vladimir Kornilov said today on his Telegram channel: “It is suspected that she [the mother] took her son to Russia. This, of course, is not yet a fact.

“But if this is indeed the case, it seems to me that we must do everything possible to protect the mother’s right to be with her Russian child! Well, if London can call him British, why can’t I call him Russian by the same logic?”

He asked: “How [do] you determine that the boy is British if his mother might think otherwise?”

Oliver is described as 2ft 7in tall with blonde hair and distinctive grey eyes. Spanish police have contacted Interpol in the hope of obtaining an international arrest warrant for Anastasiia, who they are seeking on suspicion of abduction.

In a statement Spanish police previously said: “The youngster and his father are British and the mother is Russian based in Marbella. We are treating this as a parental abduction. We believe the mother has left Spain and has taken the boy to her homeland which is Russia.”

The Foreign Office is “supporting the family of a British child who has been reported missing in Spain”.
