This Morning legend Ben Shephard has teased a possible Coronation Street.
During Monday’s (September 8) episode of Lorraine, host Lorraine Kelly caught up with Patti Clare as she marks 15 years playing Mary Taylor on the ITV soap.
Soap fans will know that Mary is particularly fond of Ben, with several hilarious references of the former GMB star being included in the show over the years.
“Mary is deeply in love and very possessive of Ben Shephard, and as the years have gone on it’s developed. So, she does have a comfort blanket, she does talk about his constantly,” Patti explained.
Ahead of This Morning airing on ITV1, Lorraine then handed over to Ben and Cat Deeley, with Ben not ruling out a future cobbles cameo.
“I’m ready. Lovely to see you Patti. Let Mary know that Ben Shephard is very excited… Willing and able. I’ll be up there as soon as I can be,” he said, much to Patti’s delight.
