A new flavour of KitKat Chunky has hit Tesco shelves, catching the attention of fans who are fixated on one particular feature and some have already given their verdict on the treat

The popular social media page New Foods UK sparked a frenzy when it shared a snap of the brand-new Nestlé creation on Facebook after discovering it at Tesco.
The post has already attracted hundreds of likes and a flurry of comments, with KitKat fans stunned by one particular aspect.
One Facebook user gasped: “Size of that,” whilst another declared: “Looks huge!”
Fellow chocolate lovers chimed in with reactions including “wow”, “omg” and a row of ‘shocked face’ emojis without any accompanying words.
Those lucky enough to have already sampled the new confection raved: “These are seriously good” and “These are lovely.”
Meanwhile, eager fans expressed their desire to try the KitKat creation with comments like “yes please” and “need to give this a try.”
According to the official KitKat website, the treat is described as: “68g KitKat Chunky DUO salted caramel chocolate bar.
“Iconic crispy wafer topped with a layer of salted caramel filling, all wrapped in a tasty layer of smooth milk chocolate. A KitKat with an extra layer of indulgence.”
The confectionery giant boasts that this sweet sensation contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
The new “huge” KitKat Chunky Salted Caramel Duo bar carries a retail price tag of £1.50 per unit and it arrives alongside the also-new KitKat Salted Caramel sharing bar, which stands out with its marbled chocolate appearance.
Salted caramel has surged in popularity across the food scene, with numerous products embracing this delightful sweet-and-salty combination.
Häagen-Dazs pioneered its salted caramel ice cream back in 2008, shortly followed by Starbucks introducing its salted caramel hot chocolate, paving the way for many products featuring this flavour to dominate the high street, according to The Fizzy Tarte.
KitKat is a chocolate brand owned by Nestlé, a leading global food and beverage company based in Switzerland.
The brand is known for its signature wafer layers encased in milk chocolate and its legendary tagline “Have a break…have a KitKat.”
