Fans have rallied around a Married At First Sight UK star after he posted an emotional update, visibly holding back tears.
The tenth series of the hit show is set to return this month, with promises of it being the “most memorable series in history”. Earlier this month, the full cast was unveiled, featuring a professional dancer and a familiar face, as well as a dentist. The brand new series is set to return to screens on 21 September at 9pm.
Among the stars is 33 year old Davide, who resides in Portugal. A former cabin crew member and TikTok sensation, Davide is hoping to find his soulmate on the reality show.
E4 hinted: “After moving from Portugal to Paris at an early age, Davide attributes his romantic side to growing up and living in the city of love.”, reports OK!.
“After planning a huge wedding for 2025, Davide was left heartbroken after the relationship abruptly came to an end. Undefeated, full of love and ready to find his future husband, Davide is looking for someone kind-hearted, handsome, romantic and – most importantly – someone who’ll share his love of cats. He is hoping the experts will be able to help him figure out what he wants and needs in a perfect partner.”
Recently, the star took to Instagram to share an emotional update, writing: “A very honest conversation about how I’ve been feeling lately about my body.”
In the emotional video, Davide is seen struggling to hold back tears as he confessed: “Do you know, I’m a bit of a mess not gonna lie to you guys. Like I faced so many body issues for many many years, and for the first time in a very long time I feel, like, confident in taking my shirt off again and take photos in front of a mirror and actually feel good about myself.
“I know I’m going to be ripped to shreds in the eye of the public, but I’m just really proud of myself because for the first time in a really long time, I actually feel good about myself and my body. I had a really tough time for a while just feeling confident again.
“Today I just felt really good. I think I’m just emotional because of everything that’s going on.”
Fans rallied around the star with heartfelt messages of support. One follower penned: “Wish I could be there to give you a big hug. I’m very proud of you. Do what makes you happy. Keep moving forward. Much love from New York.”
Another said: “OMG! I just want to hug you! ! If you were close, I so would! You are such an amazing human and loved by so many! We all need to be more kind to ourselves really! Love yourself for who you are and never be ashamed! You look amazing Sending you so much love.”

Davide regularly uses social media to give glimpses into his world, candidly discussing his innermost thoughts and emotions. He also recently revealed his difficult choice to quit his cabin crew role and “move on”.
