Showbiz legend Katie Price admitted she’d stabbed herself whilst making curry, resulting in her having to be rushed to A&E — but that didn’t stop her from showing off her injuries
Katie Price has flaunted her injuries on Snapchat after accidentally stabbing herself whilst making food. The resulting injuries ended up landing her in A&E as she needed to be treated by doctors.
Showbiz icon Katie has already had a tumultuous week as she had to deal with an emergency trip to the vets after her cats seemingly fell ill. The stint spooked animal rights charity PETA, who had previously called for Katie to be banned from owning pets after a slew of her animals were given away or died.
But for the mum-of-five, 47, the week was made even worse when she accidentally stabbed herself — all while making her family a curry for dinner. Revealing all on her Snapchat account, she showed fans all the gorey wounds she sustained in the accident, while trying to explain herself.
Overall, Katie would go on to spend five hours in A&E on Saturday night (September 13), according to the Sun. Recounting the experience to her fans, she revealed that she had been trying to make a homemade chicken curry for her loved ones, her finger slipped and resulted in her piercing her hand.
Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Katie was soon rushed to hospital by her darling beau JJ Slater, where she had stitches to her injuries. It was eventually revealed that she had cut her left hand deep, which had eventually left half of her hand numb.
Sharing grim snaps of the wounds she sustained on her social media, she explained that the stabbing had torn through her ligaments and nerves. As a result, she may have suffered some potential nerve damage, meaning her hand could be numb permanently.
“Last night I accidentally stabbed myself with a knife,” Katie explained. “You can see on the injury how deep it was, and I had to have stitches.”
Earlier on in the evening, she had revealed to her followers she was having to spend the night in A&E after sustaining an unknown injury. Sharing a snap of the hospital sign lit up at night, she joked: “Not what I had on my bingo card for Friday night.”
A second snap from the star on Sunday (September 14) saw her getting her eyebrows laminated, all while spilling the details on why she landed in hospital. “What a day, I didn’t plan on ending up in A&E on a Friday night,” she penned.
