Gregg Wallace is attempting to revive his career by using social media as he heads to TikTok to share recipes as he kicks off his new wave of content with a simple potato recipe

Desperate Gregg Wallace has taken to TikTok to revive his career – kicking off with a jacket spud recipe.

The fallen MasterChef host told fans on the social media site: “Live TikTok 6pm. Chilli on baked potato fer tea.

“Olive oil, mince (I’m using turkey), onion, garlic, ground cumin and coriander, paprika, chilli powder, tinned tomatoes, kidney beans. McCain baked potato.”

It is his latest money-making bid following his axing from the BBC cooking show after a report up held more than 40 of 83 complaints about his behaviour including one of unwelcome physical contact and three of being in a state of undress

Wallace, 60, who shed 5st three years ago, has tried to re-invent himself as a personal trainer charging clients £250-a-month to put them through their paces in the gym.

In a video posted online he explained: “You do not have to accept decline as a part of getting older. You can do something about this. You can be leaner, fitter, healthier, have more energy.

“I went on my own wellness journey and I am healthier at 60 than I was at 30.

“I coach people over 50. I help them feel better and look better and have more confidence.

“If you would like to speak to me about your own health journey, leave me a message here.”

Then he launched £4.99-a-month cookery lessons on Instagram.

The page said subscribers get `exclusive content’, access to ‘social and broadcast channels’, ‘recipes’ and a ‘badge’.

But the fledgling channel had just one subscriber.

Wallace has insisted he did not sexually harass colleagues or contestants on MasterChef.

He took to Instagram at dawn to plead his innocence as he strolled down a deserted street.

Gregg told his followers: “Sexual harassment allegations. I think what I’m about to tell you may surprise you. In the six, seven month investigation, there was no evidence of sexual harassment.

“Do you know why? Because nobody ever brought that complaint to the investigation in the first place.

“Now, after what you have been reading and listening to, doesn’t that surprise you?”

One person said: “Who are you trying to convince?”

Co-host John Torode, 60, was also axed over an offensive racist term allegedly used on the set of MasterChef in 2018.

The presenter said he had no ‘recollection’ of it and any racist language was ‘wholly unacceptable’.
