Peter Andre has been left “mortified” after a recent outing with his son Theo, and has shared the embarrassing experience in his weekly column
Peter Andre recently shared a rather embarrassing moment he experienced with his son Theo at a restaurant, in his weekly column for New! Magazine. The father-of-five likened the incident to one that Perrie Edwards had last week, when her four-year-old son Axel unexpectedly swore during a live Instagram video. And plenty more will be to come, as Perrie announced her second pregnancy recently.
In his column, Peter recounted: “I had a very funny moment with Theo the other day – so I can empathise with Perrie Edwards when her four-year-old son swore while singing along to a song! We were out for a meal at a very nice restaurant and I took Theo to the bathroom.
“I commented how nice the air freshener had made the bathroom smell, and as someone walked in he said, ‘Yep, but it’s about to get a whole lot worse!’ Mortifying, but also hilarious,” reports the Mirror.
Peter is a proud dad to Theo and daughters Millie and Arabella, whom he shares with his wife Emily MacDonagh. He also has two older children, Junior and Princess, from his previous marriage to Katie Price.
Although Peter frequently shares snippets of his family life in his weekly column and on social media, he makes a point not to reveal the faces of his three youngest children online.
The choice was Emily’s to make, with Peter revealing in 2023: “I’ve got to be honest, this was an Emily decision and I respect that. Obviously the other two, from very young they were… we did what a lot of parents love to do. You get excited and you want to show your kid riding his bike or you want to show this awesome photo of your kids because, for me, you’re sharing something joyous.
“When Emily, when we had Millie and Theo, said ‘I don’t want that’, I had to respect that and I understood her reasonings for it. She’s right, she doesn’t want them at school to be recognised. She just want them to be what she says is normal and I respect that.”
At the opposite end of the scale, Peter’s daughter Princess has recently launched her own ITV documentary series and is forging a path in entertainment.
Having recently confessed he believes the teenager will go “all the way” in the business, Peter expressed how “proud” he felt of Princess for her achievements with the programme.
Speaking on Lorraine, Peter told presenter Christine Lampard: “I do feel proud. I’ve always said to her, ‘It’s not about what you do, it’s about who you are.’ She’s a really sweet, kind, loving person and that’s really important because everything can come and go.
“This industry, we know it – it’s very fickle. There are some beautiful parts that you can have from it but also very difficult times so she wants to do this, this is what she wants to do.”
He further commented: “She has a good team behind her, I really believe she can go all the way. But stay humble, stay focused and don’t think that once you’ve succeeded that’s it. It’s not. You’ve got to keep going.”
