Strictly Come Dancing fans were left in shock over a George Clarke detail on Sunday
Strictly Come Dancing fans have predicted George Clarke’s downfall as a professional dancer let slip a “diabolical” detail.
This year’s couples took the dance floor for the second time on Saturday night (October 4) in a bid to impress judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, and Craig Revel Horwood.
At the end of the show, Love Island winner and West End star Amber Davies and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin topped the combined leaderboard with 56 points.
Meanwhile, Lorraine star Ross King and his partner Jowita Przystał found themselves at the other end of the leaderboard with just 25 points.
The hit BBC dancing competition returned to BBC One on Sunday (October 5) for the first results show of the series, reports Wales Online.

After making it through to next week, newcomer Alexis Warr revealed to her celebrity partner George Clarke that they’d be dancing to “Soda Pop” from K-pop Demon Hunters in next week’s Movie special.
George, who didn’t seem to know the song, hilariously replied: “Yes! That’s fantastic news.”
The show’s viewers were left speechless after learning the song choice, with many taking to X (formerly Twitter) to share their surprise. Meanwhile, others were concerned that it would affect George’s standing in the competition.
“NOOO PLEAAASEEE NOOOO George and Alexis, this is diabolical,” one person wrote, with another adding: “Oh poor George.”
A third said: “GEORGE DANCING TO SODA POP IM CRYING,” with another similarly sharing: “They gave George and Alexis kpop demon hunters for next week, BUT SODA POP??? OUT OF EVERY SONG THEY COULD’VE PICKED?”
Meanwhile, a fifth viewer shared their excitement: “George and Alexis are dancing to K Pop Demon Hunters next week. OMFG!!!!!! I’m so excited for this!”
On Saturday night, George and Alexis performed a Paso Doble to “Game of Survival” by Ruelle. They received two sevens from Craig and Motsi and two eights from Shirley and Anton – earning the pair an impressive total of 30 points.
“Your narrative was good between the two of you. I love that small breathing that was going on. That was outstanding,” Shirley said.
Elsewhere on tonight’s results show, host Tess Daly confirmed that The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner and his professional partner Amy Dowden would be in the dreaded dance-off against former England rugby player Chris Robshaw and Nadiya Bychkova.
After seeing their routines again, the judges unanimously voted to save Chris and Nadiya, meaning that Thomas and Amy were the first couple to be eliminated from the competition.
