Pop star Britney Spears shared a video of herself dancing around the house in lingerie, but there were bruises and bandages visible over the Toxic singer’s body
Britney Spears says she may have “broken” her leg after falling down the stairs.
The Toxic hitmaker has sparked concern with her chaotic videos in recent months. Britney, who broke free from her conservatorship back in 2021, admitted she fell down the stairs at a friend’s house and that her leg sometimes “snaps out”.
She posted a clip of her dancing in glittery pink lingerie, but the singer was sporting bruises and bandages over her body. A large bruise could be seen on her wrist and more bruising was visible on her other arm.
Britney also had a white bandage wrapped around her right knee, but she didn’t let it stop her showing off her dance moves. She took to Instagram with the video and told fans about her accident.
She wrote: “My boys had to leave and go back to Maui … this is the way I express myself and pray through art … father who art in heaven … I’m not here for concern or pity.
“I just want to be a good woman and be better … and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day !!! Psss I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house … it was horrible … it snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken but for now it’s snapped in !!!Thank u god.”
Last year, the singer left people worried for her safety and wellbeing when she was seen to by paramedics at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles. Britney said she had twisted her ankle after attempting a leap in her hotel room, leading to medics being called.
Britney downplayed concerns about her health and later claimed paramedics turned up at the hotel “illegally”. She had been seen wrapped in a blanket and wearing pyjama shorts outside of the hotel.
She told fans on Instagram: “Just to let people know… the news is fake!!!,” adding: “I am getting stronger every day!!!”
Explaining the injury, she added: “I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston.”
In another post, she shared a short video revealing swollen ankle. She said: “I really twisted my ankle last night… It’s so bad… F****** idiot here tries to do a leap here in the living room at the Chateau and I fell, embarrassed myself, and that’s it.
“Paramedics came to my door, illegally, and of course caused this scene, which was so unnecessary, when all it needed was ice. But yeah, it is actually pretty bad.”
