Victoria Beckham’s new Netflix documentary delves into the former Spice Girls’ rise to stardom as a fashion designer.
Victoria Beckham swiftly dismissed the notion of becoming a mum for the fifith time when David Beckham playfully suggested having “another baby”.
The three-part Netflix documentary landed today, Thursday, October 9, chronicling Victoria Beckham’s journey from her Spice Girls days to launching her fashion empire.
The series culminates with her lavish catwalk presentation at Paris Fashion Week last year, which drew fashion royalty Anna Wintour amongst the audience.
In a subsequent scene, David and Victoria are seen enjoying some downtime at their stunning house in the Cotswolds where they talk about their future aspirations.
The former Manchester United star begins: “Now we’re both…well I’m almost 50. You’re 51.”
Victoria responds: “Oh my God. David. We’re 101 [together]. We don’t look bad for 101.”
“But what’s next?” David enquires, with Victoria replying: “What’s next? There’s so..”
However, before the fashion mogul can talk honestly about her ambitions, he cheekily asks: “Another baby?”
Clearly startled by the proposal, Victoria declares: “Another baby? My God. No.”
“We’ve still got so much that we want to do” she continues, before stating she’s “not stopping yet” whilst keeping her future endeavours under wraps.
Victoria and David are already parents to four offspring: eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, 26, Romeo Beckham, 23, Cruz Beckham, 20, and their 14-year-old daughter Harper Beckham.
In a series of post-credit sequences, Victoria is captured preparing for the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards surrounded by her nearest and dearest.
In a sweet moment, daughter Harper confessed to her mum that she believed the ceremony had been named in her honour.
Taking to the stage, Harper was there to present Victoria with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, declaring to the crowd: “Tonight I’m so proud to present the Entrepreneur of the Year Award to a truly inspiring woman who means the world to me, my amazing mummy, Victoria Beckham.”
Whilst the remainder of the family features throughout the documentary, including behind-the-scenes footage at the Harper’s Bazaar ceremony, son Brooklyn is notably absent.
He makes a fleeting appearance being photographed alongside wife Nicola Peltz at Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week catwalk show, but Brooklyn isn’t seen seated with his father and siblings.
Victoria Beckham is available to watch on Netflix.
