EastEnders viewers are convinced that Harry Mitchell (Eljiah Holloway) is set for more turmoil after he accidentally killed Okie during Tuesday’s episode

EastEnders viewers are on tenterhooks over the fate of Harry Mitchell (Eljiah Holloway) following his accidental killing of Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu).

In recent months, Harry has been coerced into drug dealing and was brutally kidnapped by Okie and his criminal mastermind, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara). The mechanic was also duped into drug use and is now battling withdrawal symptoms.

In Tuesday’s episode of EastEnders (November 11), Okie brandished a knife at Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho), trying to figure out what he and Harry had disclosed to the police about the narcotics operation.

When Harry turned up, a scuffle with Okie broke out as Kojo dashed off to seek assistance.

During the brawl, Okie dropped his knife, which Harry hurriedly picked up to prevent himself from being stabbed. Harry got hold of the knife first but inadvertently killed Okie, who succumbed to a single stab wound within minutes, reports OK!.

When Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) showed up at the flat, he persuaded Harry not to alert the police, and they both left. Teddy later returned to the scene of the crime and confessed to murdering Okie.

Teddy was taken into custody, and during Wednesday’s episode, he was interrogated by the police.

Back in Albert Square, a guilt-ridden Harry told his mum, Nicola (Laura Doddington), that he needed some solitude as he wrestled with the remorse of Okie’s death and his father’s arrest.

Harry was visibly shaken and overwhelmed by his emotions, despite his mum’s attempts to reassure him that letting Teddy shoulder the blame was the right choice.

EastEnders viewers are now concerned that Harry might descend into a mental health crisis as he grapples with the fallout from Okie’s death.

One viewer expressed their fears on X, writing: “Harry Mitchell is like the modern-day Jesus Christ. I fear he’s going to have a mental breakdown #EastEnders.”

Another fan speculated: “#EastEnders I get the feeling we may be heading towards a possible spiralling or MH storyline of sorts for Harry, which will be devastating. Despite the differing circumstances, Nicola and Harry have now both killed someone, so they can relate in that way.”

A third viewer added their thoughts: “Nicola: Harry, pls don’t spiral. Harry: (destructive giphy )#EastEnders.”

Another predicted: “I fear that George blaming Harry for what happened is going to trigger some sort of episode/self-destruction #EastEnders”.
