The Married At First Sight UK stars have sparked dating speculation after sharing Instagram videos together
Married at First Sight UK fans are convinced that 2025 contestants Ashley and April are romantically involved, with the groom seemingly dropping a major hint to confirm their suspicions.
The pair featured in different couples during the series: Ashley was matched with controversial bride Grace whilst April married fellow newcomer Leo.
Both have since parted ways with their television partners and maintained their bond after filming wrapped.
On Thursday (November 20), Ashley took to Instagram, sharing a collection of clips showing the pair enjoying each other’s company.
His caption reads: “Just a couple of country bumpkins enjoying the countryside. I genuinely forgot how fun you are to be around.”, reports OK!.
Fans flocked to the comments, eagerly discussing whether the E4 personalities might be more than friends.
One gushed: “Now this is a match!”
While a second said: “I mean this is totally what this show was made for? So happy for you both, it’s not confirmed but it kinda is?”
A third viewer posted: “Like this comment if this is more than a friendship.”
In a telling move, Ashley gave the comment his approval with a like.
This sparked excitement from other followers, with one responding: “Yessss he liked it. Congratulations Ashley you seem great,” whilst another declared: “We love that for you both.”
However, Ashley also attempted to quash romance rumours under the same post.
When a fan commented: “I hope you guys get together, so much fun you’re having,” the MAFS participant responded: “Just great friends for now.”
Yet eagle-eyed viewers were quick to highlight his use of ‘for now,’ suggesting romance could be on the cards for the duo.
Although, this isn’t the first time Ashley has shared pictures with his female co-stars after the show.
Just a week ago, he posted a collection of photos with fellow 2025 star Sarah during a visit to her in Scotland.
He wrote: “When you visit your friend because she’s having a tough week and she says let’s go on a ‘wee’ walk 10 miles later In flat trainers yeah thanks for that.”
Ashley even addressed the speculation that might arise about him and Sarah being an item after the post.
Responding to a comment, he quipped: “Every woman I take a picture with these days is my new wife.”
Given his remarks, it remains uncertain what the nature of Ashley’s relationship with April truly is.
