Money raised from the pack not only elevates your in-game experience but provides grants to non-profits that assist veterans with finding jobs and training
A gaming add-on for Call of Duty is helping UK veterans find post-service employment.
The classic war game franchise is releasing an exclusive tracer pack for the Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.).
Money raised from the pack not only elevates your in-game experience but provides grants to non-profits that assist veterans with finding jobs and training.
This been an annual feature for 15 years in the series.
For the last six years, the C.O.D.E. Bowl has brought together military eSports teams from the US, UK and Canada, to go head-to-head in an epic Call of Duty showdown to help raise further donations.
A spokesman said: “Now, you can join the fight for good with the C.O.D.E. Legacy: Tracer Pack – an exclusive bundle that not only elevates your in-game presence but ensures 100% of your contribution goes directly to the Endowmen t .
“This isn’t just about new skins it’s about making a tangible difference.
“At the heart of this year’s Tracer Pack is an inspiring tribute to US Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient, SPC Danielle Green.
“Her story of unwavering courage and resilience is truly remarkable.
“Serving as a gunner in Iraq, Danielle faced unimaginable hardship when she was critically injured by an RPG on a rooftop in 2004, losing her left forearm and hand.
“Yet, this former Notre Dame basketball star and teacher embodies strength, and this pack is a powerful homage to her incredible journey of success following combat injury.”
Crafted in close collaboration with Danielle herself, the bundle delivers the Leilani Ironwill Operator Skin, alongside two animated weapon blueprints: the M8A1 Marksman Rifle “Flawless Fission” and the Dravec 45 SMG “Focused Fusion”.
You can customise your loadout with a suite of exclusive items, including the “Circuited Soul” Weapon Charm, the unwavering “Routed Resilience” Weapon Sticker, the dynamic “Atomic Autonomy” Emblem, the “Neural Network” Spray, the “Radiated” Emote, and the intricate “Core Computation” Animated Calling Card.
The spokesman added: “What makes this pack even more groundbreaking is the incredible collaboration behind it.
“The Leilani Ironwill operator proudly sports a ‘Hero Arm’ prosthetic, a direct result of a partnership with Bristol-based Open Bionics, a leading-edge UK bionics company, visible every time you select Danielle Green as your operator.
“Working alongside Danielle and the Endowment, Open Bionics has brought the ‘Hero Arm’ prosthetic to life, creating a real-world version directly inspired by the Tracer Pack.
“Open Bionics is revolutionising access to advanced prosthetics, proven by their recent long-term partnership with the NHS, delivering bionic hands at a significantly reduced cost, with faster production and greater customisation options. “
The C.O.D.E. Legacy: Tracer Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is available now for just £16.79 across all platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, Battle.net, and Steam.
