JD Sports will reveal how badly it has been hit by weak sales in the US this week.
It is feared to have been suffering a downturn in US spending amid unease over Donald Trump’s tariffs.
Boss Regis Schulz will update investors on Wednesday about the first six months of the year.
Investors will hope it will not downgrade profits after disappointing updates this year so far.

It expects profits of just under £900m for the year to January 2026, lower than last year’s £923m.
