The Real Housewives of London kicked off this week, with a trailer for the rest of the season promising a lot of tension as well as guest appearances from familiar faces
Two Real Housewives of London star had “issues” before joining the show, a friend has confessed. The Hayu series launched this week, with a teaser trailer promising plenty of drama and an already highly-memed moment between Amanda Cronin and Juliet Angus.
In the trailer for what was still to come in the series, Amanda and Juliet clash, with Amanda telling her frenemy: “Back to Paddington! Back to Paddington!”
Now, Real Housewives of Dubai star Caroline Stanbury, who was on Ladies of London with Juliet, has delved into the drama – and it sounds like it might be tough to watch.
Speaking on behalf of Buzz Bingo, Caroline said: “I think it’s no secret that [Juliet] and Amanda Cronin had a few issues from before, and I think that’s all resurfaced for everyone.
“Whether they move on or not, it always has to come out.
“So that’s going to be quite uncomfortable, I think, for both of them.”
She went on: “When you’ve got a group of women like that, there’s no way of controlling a situation and people’s reactions, and also other people’s opinions to your drama.
“You may absolutely have it in your head that you were in the right, but the rest of the girls may not agree.
“Sometimes, that’s quite a tough pill to swallow.
“Strong women often double down, they don’t hug it out.”
Caroline is set to make a guest appearance on the show, as revealed in the trailer.
She said: “I went to go and cheer on my girlfriends who were in it.
“It’s a tough show to make, it’s particularly tough in a city like London. It’s even tougher when it’s your really good friends and old friends, those girls have really got their work cut out.
“I went to go and give encouragement and support and say ‘it’s going to be okay’. I really kicked Juliet [Mayhew] into doing this show, the other Juliet, [Angus] as well.
“On the other hand, it looks like great fun, and it’s very nostalgic to be back in London and film a show like that.”
