Emmerdale’s Ross Barton star and his girlfriend Isabelle Du Plessis have welcomed a baby girl into the world
Emmerdale star Michael Parr has become a first-time dad after welcoming his newborn daughter with his partner Isabelle Du Plessis.
The 39-year-old actor, who plays Ross Barton in the ITV soap, and his girlfriend also revealed the gender and name of their baby in a sweet Instagram post on Saturday (September 20).
Sharing a series of heart-warming snaps, Isabelle announced, “Welcome to the world, Suzie Rose Parr.”
In one adorable photo, proud dad Mike can be seen holding his daughter as she slept cosily in his arms.
In another stunning snap, Isabelle holds her new-born as she lays in a hospital bed, and beams at the camera letting one a sweet smile.

Mike can then be seen bringing his new daughter home from the hospital in a car seat as they embark on their new journey of parenthood.
The proud dad is also pictured introducing his new bundle of joy to the family dog as he playfully smiles at the pooch while he cradles Suzie Rose.
Emmerdale stars rushed to the comments section to congratulate their co-star Mike and Isabelle.
Steph Miligan actress Georgia Jay wrote: “Beautiful girl! Beautiful family!! So so many congratulations!”.
Bradley Riches, who play’s Ross’ on-screen brother Lewis Barton, exclaimed: “Love you! X.”
While April Windsor star, Amelia Flanagan, added a string of love heart emojis.
Mike initially played the role of Ross from 2013 until his departure in late 2018.
Last year, the actor announced he would be returning to screens and reprised his role as Ross during a bare-knuckle fighting ring against Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).
Mike and Isabelle delighted fans when they announced in May that they were expecting a baby later in the year.
The happy couple sweetly shared a number of snaps of themselves looking happy on a beach. They wrote a message in the sand revealing they were to become parents, writing: “MJP IDP Soon 2 B 3.”
Sharing the images at the time, the couple wrote in a joint caption: “In our Mum & Dad Era” alongside a baby chicken emoji and a chick in an egg emoji.
