Kerry Katona has admitted that she is expecting to be “torn back down to the bottom” and is “waiting for things to go wrong again” following a very emotional confession

Kerry Katona thinks she will be “torn down to the bottom” after an “overwhelming” interview.

In her OK column, Kerry spoke about the emotional rollercoaster that comes with public support and success as well as the fears that arise from such positive fan reactions. She revealed: “Part two of my podcast with Paul Brunson came out last week, it was an emotional conversation.”

The star, who recently wrapped up her stint on Celebs Go Dating, confessed: “I can’t actually watch the whole thing, to be honest. I’m glad I did it and the support has been amazing, my DMs are actually flooded. I’m still feeling overwhelmed with it all.”

She continued: “Whenever I get this much love and feel on top people always seem to tear me back down to the bottom, so I feel like I’m just waiting for things to go wrong again. But I’m going to try to stay positive and enjoy it. Give it a watch on Paul’s We Need To Talk YouTube channel,” reports the Mirror.

During the appearance on Paul’s podcast the former Atomic Kitten star made some startling revelations. Among other things, she confessed she almost became an escort at 16 and shared her early ambitions of being a Page 3 model, joking that she “wasn’t going to be a rocket scientist”.

She also opened up about her rocky relationship with her mother, who introduced her to drugs during her teenage years but has since apologised for her actions. Following these shocking admissions, fans took to social media to commend Kerry for her courage.

One fan hailed her as “truly amazing, strong and brave”, while another applauded her for her transparency. Several celebrity friends also expressed their admiration for the mum-of-five as Christine McGuinness praised Kerry for: “Turning pain into power over pity – my kinda woman!” while Gemma Atkinson admitted that Kerry had moved her to tears.

In an emotional video on her social media, Kerry acknowledged that revisiting certain parts of her past was difficult but she stressed the importance of honesty about her darker times: “You can’t live with regrets in life, so I don’t regret things – it’s put me where I am today. I have been feeling so overwhelmed and emotional since the podcast came out because I spoke about a lot of things from my past. It’s hard to go back to that place.”
