The United States will be hoping to reclaim the Ryder Cup from Europe in New York this weekend, with their stars having a host of WAGs supporting them at Bethpage Black

Team USA are getting ready to try to reclaim the Ryder Cup from Europe as golf’s top team event tees off on Friday.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, along with fellow major winners Bryson DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele, will be bolstered by a number of rookies at the challenging Bethpage Black course in Long Island, New York.

With home advantage, the Americans are favourites, but it’s set to be a nail-biting showdown that many reckon could go down to the wire. Cheering on the US team will be a legion of wives and girlfriends, offering their support both on and off the course.

Many were spotted as the teams gathered for the customary welcome dinner earlier this week. Here’s the lowdown on the players’ other halves…

Jillian Stacey – wife of Keegan Bradley

US skipper Bradley, who eventually decided against picking himself, crossed paths with Jillian Stacey in 2012, with both hailing from Vermont.

They got engaged in August 2015 and tied the knot the following year. The couple have two sons, Logan James and Cooper.

Meredith Scheffler – wife of Scottie Scheffler

The world’s best player has been smitten with his childhood sweetheart, then Scudder, since their high school days.

They said their vows in 2020 in a winter wonderland-themed wedding. Last year, they became first-time parents, welcoming son Bennett into the world.

Nikki Guidish – wife of Patrick Cantlay

Guidish boasts an intriguing career herself, having been a model, bodybuilder and also a pharmacist.

The couple were initially seen together at the 2021 Memorial Tournament, before getting engaged during a Californian holiday the following year. Guidish accompanied Cantley to the previous Ryder Cup in Rome.

While the Americans surrendered the trophy, something positive emerged from the journey as the duo tied the knot in the Italian capital.

Melody Means Spaun – wife of JJ Spaun

The US Open champion and Ryder Cup debutant wed Melody in 2019. They share two children.

Following her husband’s first major victory earlier this year, she revealed to reporters: “Honestly, I feel like he’s always been the underdog, and he’s finally proved himself.”

Maya Lowe – wife of Xander Schauffele

Lowe, who encountered Schauffele while both were students at San Diego State University, holds several qualifications: a bachelor’s degree in science and public health, plus a master’s in healthcare administration.

Caroline Campbell – wife of Sam Burns

Burns, making his second Ryder Cup outing, married Campbell in 2021. The pair welcomed their firstborn, Bear, last year.

Kelsey Dalition – wife of Cameron Young

The Ryder Cup newcomer met Dalition, also a golfer, during their time at Wake Forest University. They’re parents to three children.

Katherine Morikawa – wife of Collin Morikawa

Yet another golfing spouse, the pair met during their university days; Collin at California and Katherine (née Zhu) at Pepperdine.

Dana Myeroff – Ben Griffin’s fiancée

Griffin is accompanied in New York by his future wife, Myeroff. The couple got together in 2022, with Griffin getting down on one knee last year.

Jillian Wisniewski – wife of Justin Thomas

The duo tied the knot in 2022 and, like several of their team-mates and fellow WAGS, embraced parenthood for the first time last year.

Helen Bowers – wife of Harris English

Boasting one of the longest-standing relationships in the team, the couple exchanged vows back in 2017. They first met at the University of Georgia and have a daughter, Emilia, born in 2023.

Bryson DeChambeau’s rumoured girlfriend

One of the few bachelors in the US team, DeChambeau was rumoured to be seeing keen golfer Lilia Schneider, a recent graduate from Marian University.

However, the American stated on a podcast appearance in the summer that he was single. When questioned on whether he has a girlfriend, he said: “Uh no. I’m keeping that open.”

Teil Duncan – wife of Russell Henley

While Henley may be a Ryder Cup newbie, he’s a seasoned pro when it comes to marriage, having said ‘I do’ to Duncan, a successful artist, 10 years ago. The couple are proud parents to three children.
