A former Strictly and Love Island star is apparently set for a very different type of TV show
Strictly Come Dancing and Love Island star Tasha Ghouri is reportedly set to embark on a new adventure with the upcoming series of Pilgrimage.
The 27-year-old, who made waves in the ballroom and by the poolside, has joined the roster for the next instalment of BBC Two’s Pilgrimage, according to The Sun.
The programme invites a diverse group of celebrities from various faiths and backgrounds to walk ancient routes, embarking on a unique journey of self-discovery.
Past seasons have seen personalities like Brendan Cole, Scarlett Moffatt, Vicky Pattison, Neil Morrissey and Jeff Brazier trekking along paths such as North Wales Pilgrim’s Way and Camino de Santiago, exploring their spiritual dimensions. The forthcoming series will reportedly feature the stars navigating through Northumberland, reports Wales Online.

“A former Love Islander with no apparent religious leanings isn’t the obvious choice for a show exploring faith,” an insider shared with the publication
“But then that’s part of the point, because it brings together people from certain religions, or no religions, and the journey they go on sparks deeper discussions about their differing world views.”
The source also suggested that the experience might prove to be a “culture shock” for Tasha, given her previous television appearances.
Tasha first entered the public eye as a single lady looking for love on Love Island in 2022, where she broke barriers as the ITV show’s first deaf contestant.
She secured fourth place with fellow Islander Andrew Le Page, while Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu took the top spot.
She and Andrew remained a couple for a while but earlier this year it was reported that they had split up and gone their separate ways.
The celebrity appeared on Strictly Come Dancing last year, where she was partnered with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec.
The duo made it all the way to the final of the BBC ballroom contest, but it was Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell who ultimately won the coveted Glitterball trophy.
The BBC has been approached for comment.
Pilgrimage airs on BBC Two.
