The infamous former Health Secreatry was ridiculed during both his telly stunts in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and SAS: Who Dares Wins and he’s not done yet

Slimeball Matt Hancock is trying to slither his way back onto our telly screens. The disgraced Covid love-rat, 47, has been shopping TV ideas during meetings in London – but wasn’t at the Tory conference.

A source there said: “He didn’t turn up, and it was a relief, as that’s the last thing the Tories need at the moment. But the word is he is desperately trying to reinvent himself as a TV personality or producer as he has been going around trying to punt ideas at meetings in London.

“He’s going to find it very hard to get TV projects off the ground, even if he sets up his own production company. Media executives hate him as much as most of Britain.”

Hancock left his job as health secretary in 2021 after it was revealed he had breached coronavirus social distancing restrictions with his mistress Gina Coladangelo, an adviser in the Department of Health and Social Care.

Leaked CCTV images showed oily Hancock kissing and embracing her in his Whitehall office as the nation struggled through restrictions including not being able to visit dying loved ones in hospital.

At the time of the affair he was married with three kids to osteopath Martha Hoyer Millar. He was ridiculed during both his telly stunts since – in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Hancock was forced to eat a sheep’s vagina on the jungle show, and battered by ex-footballer Jermaine Pennant on Channel 4’s SAS show.

Hancock was paid £320,000 for his controversial appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – and donated less than 5% of the money to charity, despite a promise made to constituents.

The former health secretary appeared on the show while parliament was sitting last Autumn and had the Conservative Party whip suspended for jetting off to Australia when he should have been focussing on his work as an MP.

At the time, Matt said he was going on I’m A Celebrity to “show what I am like as a person” as well as raising awareness of dyslexia.

He added: “And no, it wasn’t the cheque that changed my mind. I will be making a donation to St Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk and causes supporting dyslexia off the back of my appearance.”
