The Orange Manbaby recently suggested that the US could provide Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles in the fight against Russia – and Kremlin pundits did not like one bit

Russian pundits spared no feelings over Donald Trump after they picked his apparent lack of intellect in a recent debate. Speaking on the state-run TV show ‘One’s Own Truth’, political scientist Andrei Sidorchik mocked: “We have to stroke the ego of a man who is behaving like a cowboy from a saloon or an infant. His intellect is not up to par.”

The Kremlin propagandist went on to compare the US president – who recently said he would consider providing Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles against Russia – with “pocket change”. Sidorchik said: “He is as simple as pocket change. He thinks that in the end, Russia can be cowed.”

“His entourage thinks so, too. Which is sad,” the angry man added.

Chillingly, the show also found that 50% of its viewers were in favour of strikes against NATO countries following Trump’s provocative words.

Sidorchik seemed unsurprised with with figures, saying that the Russian public don’t have to massage Trump’s ego.

“Because our people who don’t hold office are a bit more free in their judgements and therefore they see no need to stroke Donald Trump’s ego,” he claimed.

Presenter Roman Babayan went on: “I think that Tomahawks won’t come to Ukraine. But meanwhile Trump is giving us time. Our troops are advancing.”

Professor Andrey Koshkin then confidently laid out what he believes is the future for Russia’s standoff with the West.

Referring to the hundreds of billions in Russian money seized by European and American governments after the invasion of Ukraine, Koshkin said: “Europe will give everything back, with interest. All of it will happen.”

The bold statement drew nods from other guests, with the clear message that the Kremlin’s inner circle believes time is on Russia’s side.

Meanwhile, talk of peace negotiations – which flared up again after Donald Trump suggested he could deliver a peace deal if re-elected – was met with deep suspicion by the pundits.

Journalist Evgenia Volgina was especially blunt, accusing the West of only pretending to want peace. She said: “There is an often-used psychological trick of telling your counterpart what he wants to hear.

“Most likely, he is doing that. But we are the only ones talking about peacemaking. Everybody else – Americans and Europeans – don’t need peacemaking.”

Earlier this month, military analyst Colonel Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of Russia ’s ‘National Defence’ journal, said the use of Tomahawks – with a range of 1,550 miles – would trigger World War Three.

“From the point of view of international law norms – this is a ‘casus belli’,” he told Readovka. “Accordingly, Russia will have to respond with retaliatory strikes and, obviously, not only on the territory of Ukraine.”
