This year’s Strictly Come Dancing couples took to the dance floor for the second time on Saturday night, but who ended up at the top of the leaderboard?

The 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing is officially underway, with fifteen new couples taking to the dancefloor in a bid to impress judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, and Craig Revel Horwood.

Following the opening live show, former footballer Karen Carney and her professional partner Carlos Gu claimed the top spot on the leaderboard after earning 31 points for their Jive to Blondie’s “One Way or Another”.

Meanwhile, Lorraine presenter Ross King and his partner Jowita Przystał were at the bottom of the rankings with just 10 points for their Hollywood-themed Cha Cha Cha to “California Gurls” by Katy Perry.

Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman brought this year’s contestants back to the legendary ballroom on Saturday evening (October 4) for the second live show.

Here’s how the judges marked the couples this week, with their scores added to last week’s totals before the first elimination, reports Wales Online.
