Prince Andrew, who strongly denies any allegations against him, is said to be “ranting to himself” as he lives with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is allegedly spending his final weeks at the Royal Lodge “ranting to himself.” It’s been suggested that Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson reside in separate wings of the luxurious 30-room mansion in Windsor, only convening for meals where they discuss their diminishing prospects.

The downfall of the former Duke of York began after he was discovered to have sent messages to the late billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, despite claiming to have severed ties with him.

The disgraced 65 year old Andrew, who vehemently denies any allegations against him, reportedly “rants to himself” as he roams the expansive estate. It’s said that Andrew contemplates his future plans following the stripping of his titles by his own brother, King Charles.

Both Andrew and Fergie are reportedly concerned for their safety due to their past association with Epstein. A source told The Sun: “They are both spending a lot of time alone. Andrew rarely goes out and has been padding around the lodge and ranting and muttering.”

Fergie is said to be “leaning on” loyal staff for support and has even requested them to stay late at the Lodge to keep her company. This comes as she reportedly continues to live separately from her former husband, reports the Mirror.

The source added: “Andrew and Sarah are leading separate lives – at different ends and on different wings. But they come together quite often for lunch and dinner, and this is where they talk about their futures.

“They have been heard having some pretty intense conversations about what is going on. Sarah, in particular, is panicking about what comes next and she is not in a good place.”

Andrew is also facing pressure from across the pond to testify before Congress regarding his association with Epstein. Robert Garcia, the senior Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, penned a letter to the former Duke of York, asking Andrew to participate in a recorded interview as part of the panel’s continuing investigation.

The correspondence was endorsed by 13 other Democrats, with the committee stating it seeks to “understand the full extent of [Epstein’s] criminal operations.”

It demands a reply by November 20.
