Logan Henderson, 26, decided to go under the knife to revive his thinning locks after battling hair loss since the age of 19 – but he was left looking like a cartoon character

A balding man quipped that he ‘looks like Megamind’ after he underwent an ‘anti-aging’ hair transplant – with highly unexpected results.

Logan Henderson chose to undergo surgery in an attempt to restore his thinning hair, which he had been losing since he was 19 years old.

The 26 year old arranged for the procedure on 1 November, during which surgeons transplanted approximately 4,500 grafts. However, just a few days post-operation, accountant Logan realised that the recovery process would be more challenging than he had anticipated.

He had to sleep upright for ten days to safeguard the fragile grafts, and by the second day, he noticed his forehead had significantly swollen.

To help reduce the swelling, he also wore a headband. He humorously compared himself to the animated superhero character from the 2010 children’s film.

“I thought it was okay the day after but by day two I looked like Megamind,” he told What’s The Jam. “After I took the headband off, it started falling down my face and it lead to some pretty interesting head shapes.

“Every time the band was on it would collect and swell in my forehead and top of my head. By day three, my eyes were heavily bruised and looked like I had 12 rounds with prime Mike Tyson.

“My forehead not far off doubled in size, and my right eye nearly shut from swelling.” Just the day after the hair transplant, Logan was full of confidence.

He walked through London to get on the train while waring a headband cheekily stating “want hair.” However, the jokes quickly halted.

Logan said that he “couldn’t feel” his skull for a week due to the swelling. It left the lad mostly housebound as he “went into hiding” as the swelling continued to grow.

He shared his experience on TikTok, where people quickly poked fun. One said: He can remember the future.” Another said: “Had a lot on his mind.”

As someone else quipped: “Stop overthinking!” Logan expressed his desire to “look his age again”, feeling that his receding hairline aged him by ten years.

He won’t see the full results of the operation for another 12 months. Logan further explained: “I wanted to revive the hair line and not look like I was 26 pushing 36.

“It was at a point where I needed to either shave it or try something else. I decided to give a transplant a go as I didn’t want to be bald and regret not trying something.

“I’ve been losing it since I was 19 so I knew it was on the cards at some point. I didn’t realise how soon I’d be at the point where any longer would have been too far gone.

“My hairline was playing all out attack. My hair was very thin and I had a bald patch at the crown.”
