As Celebrity Traitors comes to an end, the show is already gearing up for a civilian version and fans can apply now
BBC’s The Traitors is already preparing for its comeback on our telly screens, and fans have the chance to star in the new series.
Just hours after the celeb spin-off finale aired on Thursday (November 6) night, viewers are clamouring for more of the gripping show.
Over a tense four-week period, audiences were glued to their screens as famous faces grappled with nerve-wracking missions, explosive roundtables, and jaw-dropping betrayals. Comedian and traitor Alan Carr was visibly moved after clinching victory in the popular reality show.
The 49 year old funnyman left his Faithful co-stars gobsmacked with his emotional reaction after winning the Claudia Winkleman hosted series. Alan had been a Traitor from the get-go, alongside Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns, reports Wales Online.
Jonathan got the boot episodes earlier, while Cat stumbled at the final hurdle and was ousted after the last roundtable.
Alan, David and Nick made up the final trio, and upon deciding to wrap up the game, they each revealed whether they were a Traitor or a Faithful.
After Alan’s triumphant win, host Claudia took to social media to share a snap with the first winner of the celebrity spin-off.
Posing next to the comedian in a tee that read ‘I love Alan’, she penned: “Thank you so so much for watching. Every single one of the cast – utterly outstanding. And this one.”
The telly presenter then dropped a hint, saying: “We’ll see you soon.”
As anticipated, fans are already eagerly awaiting the show’s return, and fortunately, they won’t have to wait too long as applications for the civilian version are now open.
The current deadline is set for 31st May 2026, but this could be extended or closed without notice – so it’s advisable to get your application in pronto.
To apply, you’ll need to fill out an application form here. All applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of applying for the show and have the right to legally reside in the UK.
The application form asks whether you’d like to be a Faithful or Traitor if selected for the show.
Filming is expected to take place over a period of up to four weeks, currently expected to be summer/autumn 2026.
