A curve influencer slammed visitors who allegedly ‘body-shamed’ her during a day out at Disneyland – including those who ‘laughed’ and ‘stared’ at her.
Gracie Bon, hailing from Panama, claims she was gawked at and mocked by other guests throughout her visit. The curvaceous model,27, had been looking forward to a enchanting day with her younger siblings at the renowned theme park.
However, her experience was spoiled when she became the focus of unwanted stares and giggles. It comes after a mum caused controversy by going braless and donning a playsuit at the theme park.
The stunner, celebrated for her body-positive message, described how she endured people sniggering and taking photographs while she was merely attempting to enjoy the rides. She turned to Instagram to appeal for respect and compassion, documenting her experience in a clip shared with her massive 6.4million followers.
The video documented Gracie’s visit to Disneyland, showcasing the unwanted scrutiny from bystanders who could be observed staring and chuckling in the background.
Accompanying the footage, Gracie wrote a heartfelt statement, declaring: “It’s time to stop body-shaming other people. I was at Disneyland today, I wanted to have fun with my siblings, but our day was ruined by all the people that were making fun of the size of my body.
“The worst part is that they teach their kids to do the same. They kept taking photos of me, they gave me bad looks all the time of just kept laughing at me.
“I know you may think that I am exaggerating and that it’s my fault for being a big girl, but this is literally what God gave me and I have to embrace every single part of me. Even if you have a condition, you look different, you shouldn’t be bullied for the way you look.”
Gracie went on: “I would never talk negatively about someone else’s appearance. Respect is key. This should be a safe space where everyone feels comfortable and I wasn’t doing anything, just existing.
“At the end of the day, I just wanted to have fun like everyone else. If you don’t like something, stop hating and keep it to yourself.”
Her heartfelt message struck a chord with followers, garnering more than 75,000 likes as supporters rallied around her with uplifting comments.
One follower reassured her: “Don’t worry at all. You are beautiful just the way God made you! People are just jealous that you are so beautiful!” Another added: “I’m sorry people can be so cruel and judge so harshly when they have no room to judge. You are beautiful.”
A third fan wrote: “Please stay strong and straighten then crown.”
Whilst another encouraged: “Don’t mind them, keep it up.”
However, Gracie’s figure also prompted speculation from some users, with questions arising about whether she’d undergone a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). Speaking out about surgery speculation earlier in January, Gracie told her supporters she’s never undergone facial procedures.
She proclaimed in an emotional message: “How life changes when you start loving yourself. Happy to have you who have seen all my evolution and also those who criticise and wish to be me. And no, I have never had face surgery.”
The stunner has remained tight-lipped, however, about whether she’s undergone any treatments to boost her curvaceous physique.
She’s faced countless of rumours about cosmetic enhancements, including Brazilian butt lifts, breast augmentation, lip fillers, dermal injections, and anti-wrinkle treatments, all designed to amplify her appearance.
The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) speculation intensified after Gracie moaned about her ample posterior being too large for aircraft seating.
She called on airlines to expand seat dimensions, insisting it ‘wasn’t her fault her curvy bum won’t fit in them’.
