I’m A Celeb: Ant reveals Dec uses the jungle dunny
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here host Ant McPartlin exposed his co-star Declan Donnelly’s camp dunny habit.
The “dunny” is an outdoor toilet shack situated right in the middle of the I’m A Celebrity campsite and during a recent livestream, while the comedy duo answered questions from fans, one person asked: “Dec, did you notice the air freshener when you went in the dunny?”
Ant said: “You know Dec goes to the dunny? On the way into camp to announce the names! He’s at that age now, he can’t hold a wee for ninety minutes so he has to go to the dunny.”
Declan giggled and said: “Sometimes, if I drink too much green tea during the show, it’s got to come out somewhere.”
Previously, contestants have compared the dunny to a festival toilet and current contestant Martin Kemp’s son Roman Kemp, who competed on the show back in 2019, was once forced to empty the human waste that had collected inside.
He said: “When I was carrying it out to empty it after Cliff [Parisi] had been, I thought there was a person in it!”
The radio presenter was recently left cringing when his father Martin recalled the exact position he used to get wife Shirlie, Roman’s mother, pregnant. He even gave a very thorough demonstration as he showed his co-stars “The Wheelbarrow,” which left them all chuckling as they watched him perform.
Roman was clearly scarred and took to X/Twitter to write: “My dad’s talking about ‘wheelbarrowing’ with my mum…” along with a hilarious GIF of The Simpsons character Homer Simpson as he poured bleach into his eyes.
Shirlie wasn’t so impressed either. Speaking to Reach reporter Tom Bryant she admitted: “Yes, I have been very embarrassed. Having to go out the next day and everyone at the gym, going: ‘Oooh Martin,’ but it’s all good, I am used to it.”
Martin has repeatedly mentioned Shirlie while on the show and explained that their marriage may actually be null and void: “I got married in St Lucia on a clifftop overlooking the Caribbean with just three people.” He joked that the ceremony was so basic “if you looked into it more you’d find we’re not married!”
