WARNING EXPLICIT CONTENT Andréa Sunshine, 55, is known for her super-toned physique and has previously revealed she eats 5,400 eggs a year to stay in shape – but now she’s shared another beauty secret
A super-fit gran has shared her secret to staying youthful – milk baths – but it’s left followers “needing a shower”. Andréa Sunshine, as she’s known online, is famous for her incredibly toned body, as well as her unusual health and beauty tricks.
She’s previously confessed to consuming a staggering 5,400 eggs annually in her quest to maintain peak fitness. But what’s the gran’s method for looking so young, especially whilst being smitten with toyboy Federico, 35?
Soaking in milk – just like Cleopatra. “I’ve always loved researching stories about strong women,” the fitness coach said.
“And when I read about Cleopatra, I was intrigued. She used milk to keep her skin soft and youthful, and I thought, why not try it? Every woman deserves a moment of self-care; a ritual just for herself.”
In footage, the 55-year-old can be seen pouring milk over herself whilst sporting a bikini top – and no knickers. She looks completely at ease as she soaks in the liquid, using her palms to splash more across her frame as it cascades into the bath.
Andréa captioned the post: “Inspired by Cleopatra, I celebrate the ancestral beauty that transcends eras.
“Beauty doesn’t age, it transforms in my ritual today. I remember Cleopatra, and I am reborn into the light that has always been mine. Because living intensely is my greatest ritual.”
Viewers have rushed to the comments section to voice their thoughts, with people discussing their own milk bathing adventures.
“I need a shower now,” Gina said. Someone else chimed in: “Don’t forget the rose petals. They were combined with camel milk.”
Andréa, who divides her time between London and Rome, recommends mixing one litre of cow’s milk with one tablespoon of almond oil into warm water.
She then suggests soaking in the blend for approximately 30 minutes.
It’s believed that the lactic acid naturally found in milk works as a mild exfoliant, assisting in the removal of dead skin cells, resulting in smoother skin and cellular regeneration.
The proteins and fats also deliver moisture, leaving the skin feeling more nourished.
She revealed: “Right after immersing myself in the bathtub, I could already feel the difference.
“My skin was instantly softer. I believe this tip should be more widely shared. It’s simple, accessible and makes a real difference. It’s not just about aesthetics, it’s about self-esteem too.”
According to legend, Cleopatra performed the beauty treatment somewhat differently, utilising donkey milk and incorporating honey and rose petals as well.
Numerous retailers stock the blend ready-prepared, though Andréa maintains there’s something special about creating it yourself. The influencer continued: “For me, the bath went beyond beauty.
“It became a ritual of rebirth. It was like reconnecting with myself. Women are not disposable after 40. We are stronger, more intense and more aware of what we want. The milk bath was just another way of telling myself that I choose to live intensely, at the age I am, in my own way.
“I’ve chosen to feed my body and soul with pleasure, presence and decisions that are entirely my own.”
She had previously revealed another empowering ritual – burying her former partners’ underwear, neckties and her own mobile phone in a graveyard to help liberate herself from past romantic pain.
