Coronation Street spoilers have teased a tragic ‘double death’
Coronation Street is gearing up for explosive scenes next week according to fresh spoilers.
In forthcoming episodes, as Aadi Alahan prepares to depart the cobbles for India, his father Dev Alahan teams up with Steve McDonald in a matchmaking scheme to reunite him with Steve’s daughter Amy Barlow, desperately hoping this will convince him to remain in Weatherfield.
Nevertheless, it quickly emerges that Aadi and Amy have decided to stay as mates, with Aadi confessing his excitement about starting afresh in India.
This revelation devastates both Dev and Aadi’s twin sister Asha Alahan, prompting the latter to flee the pub in floods of tears before suffering a panic attack after an already stressful shift at work.
Subsequently, Asha creates a voice message for Aadi expressing how desperately she’ll miss him, admitting she doesn’t believe she can manage without him and pleading with him not to leave. With her finger poised over “send”, she becomes overwhelmed with emotion… but will she actually send it?, reports Leicestershire Live.
As the days unfold, a dejected Asha battles through her routine knowing her twin is about to embark on a new chapter thousands of miles away.
After bidding her farewells, she sets off on her paramedic duties alongside Sienna, but events take an ominous twist when she’s summoned to a road traffic collision and upon arrival, she identifies the vehicle as belonging to Aadi – but what’s occurred and is Aadi safe?
This development follows actor Adam Hussain’s confirmation of his departure from the ITV drama earlier this year after a five-year stint portraying Aadi. Meanwhile, as the possibility of a tragic end for Aadi looms, another death on the cobbles is confirmed.
In forthcoming scenes, Jenny Connor expresses concern that George Shuttleworth may be too trusting with the women he meets online.
Her fears are validated when Daisy Midgeley’s scheming mother, Christina Boyd, shows up at the pub in search of George.
Christina soon discloses that her former flame, Dom, has passed away and her encounter with George is strictly professional. However, Jenny complains to Glenda and Brian, convinced that Christina has set her sights on George and is up to no good.
Later in the week, Jenny becomes convinced that Christina is catfishing George and lying about Dom’s demise. As a result, Jenny storms into the undertakers and informs George that Christina is only interested in his money and that Dom isn’t dead at all.
To Christina’s dismay, Jenny pulls back the lid of Dom’s coffin… but what will she discover?
